About Other Worlds

Other Worlds is a sci-fi and fantasy bookshop. It lives online for now, on this site, because a high-street shop still needs time, a lease, and a ridiculous number of shelves.

Until then, this is the shop floor: a few tables of books we would hand to you, a journal of starting points, and a till that currently sits on other people’s websites. When a title is published by HarperCollins, you can buy it from them. Amazon is there for the rest of the catalogue, and for Kindle. Waterstones will return as soon as they will have us.

We do not stock everything. We stock a point of view.

A note from the founder

I am Andy. I work in content design and digital products, and I have a long-term dream of running a specialist bookshop — and of writing novels that might one day sit on these shelves without me putting them there.

This site is the first version of that shop: small on purpose, so it can grow into the real thing rather than having to be thrown away.
